This is my original album, Sourdough, remixed by 10 amazing artists. The idea came when I saw the Noise Trees album "Ghost Piano Pt 2". I had never really considered remixes within the ambient genre but I was impressed and intrigued with how the artists on that album were able to build off and transform the original works. I contacted Noise Trees to ask about his process with it and he gave me not only the blessing to steal his idea, but the courage and confidence to move forward with the project.

It follows the original concept of Sourdough which is gathering materials and organisms (sounds, textures, emotional expressions) from the surrounding environment to create something unique, but whose existence is dependent on the generosity of the world around it. In this case it is a sampling of some of the many artists that inspired me and influenced me during the original albums' creation.

I chose artists with a variety of styles and genres, to showcase how compelling, heartfelt emotional expression can come in any voice, key, rhythm, texture, etc. I am honored to have such talented people, from all over the planet, on this project. <3<3<3

I love making music. Even more than that I love sharing the power of music with other people. Don't be afraid to collaborate. Don't be afraid to connect to others around something you love.
